Royal Anglian Regiment - Freedom of Entry march - Sunday 2 July
Earlier this year, Broxbourne Borough Council granted Honorary Freeman status to the Royal Anglian Regiment. On Sunday 2nd July, the Regiment will be exercising their new right to march through the Borough with colours flying, bands paying, drums beating and bayonets fixed.
Approximately 100 soldiers, accompanied by a marching band, will march at 10am from The Spotlight, Hoddesdon to Hoddesdon High Street where they will take the salute from the Mayor of Broxbourne and the Regimental Colonel at the Jubilee Shelter. They will then march to the Hoddesdon War Memorial before returning to the Spotlight for a VIP reception.
